a word wrongly used lately is this:
HERO
I quote from the dictionary De Mauro:
1: In classical myth, demigod with exceptional virtue and author of prodigious feats.
2: who gives courage and generosity, who sacrifices himself for an ideal.
3: the main character of a literary, musical and film.
4: (scherz.) who is talked about, who is in the spotlight.
how to apply this definition to a character like Vittorio Mangano is a question for me no response. can someone help me?
